BALLY SHINES AT NEW YORK’S MET BALL GALA

Bally dazzled at last night’s New York’s Metropolitan Museum of Art / Costume institute benefit to celebrate the opening of Alexander McQueen’s “ Savage Beauty “ with a guest list that included the brightest stars and elite from the fashion, film and music industries.

Bally’s Creative Directors, Michael Herz and Graeme Fidler were accompanied by the beautiful Olivier nominated English actress, Hayley Atwell. Dressed in a full-length evening gown created exclusively for her by Bally’s design-duo, Ms Atwell looked every inch the Hollywood star. With its elegant silhouette and seductive Renaissance décolleté, the full-length silk crepe gown in Bally Rouge featured velvety soft leather body panels on the side as a striking detail. To complete the look, Hayley wore a pair of custom made Bally nude strappy wedge sandals in exotic python featuring an intriguing stepped back platform and carried a matching slim clutch from Bally’s Zurich collection, also in nude python trimmed with burnished gold.

Known for her work in film, television and theatre, Hayley was recently nominated for a Best Actress Golden Globe Award for the 2010 television mini-series Ken Follett’s ‘The Pillars of the Earth’. Hayley will next be seen in the highly anticipated feature film “Captain America: The First Avenger “ in which she plays Peggy Carter. Paramount Pictures will release the film on July 22nd, 2011.
